Reece’s career started with a job in the kitchen at a local restaurant.

Due to a sick staff member, Reece was tasked with helping on the desserts section and relished the creativity that the pastry section allowed. 

His first forays into the world of chocolate saw Reece assisting with UK Master Chocolatier John Costello's training for The Chocolate World Cup in Paris. He also trained with UK Chocolate Master Ruth Hinks at Cocoa Black in Peebles, Scotland.

From then on Reece landed himself a job as a Food Innovation Technologist, working in the manufacturing side of patisserie to develop a range of products for the UK’s largest bakery manufacturers, major UK retailers, hotels, restaurants, as well as chocolate distributors. His most notable role was working with product lines from M&S and ASDA.

From the manufacturing and product development side, Reece then moved on to work with one of the UK’s biggest retailers as a Product Developer to better understand the business processes and knowledge needed to take an idea and turn it into a best seller on the supermarket shelves. It was from here that Reece felt it was time to launch his own brand, Délicieux Chocolat, and showcase the very best produce into a selection of artisan bars and drinking chocolates to be enjoyed by others.
